UGG's Scuffette II slipper would usually set you back around £80

Budget supermarket Aldi is selling a pair of slippers which look very similar to ones sold by American brand UGG.

Aldi’s SpecialBuys often prove popular with shoppers, many of whom anxiously await Thursdays and Sundays to see what they’ll be able to get their hands on.

Recently, SpecialBuy products have included everything from breakfast makers to hanging egg chairs - but this time, it's the retailer’s Ladies' Brown Sheepskin Slippers shoppers will want to keep an eye on.

Aldi, which has stores across Liverpool, is selling its own version of UGG’s iconic Scuffette II slipper for £14.99. The Brown Ladies’ Sheepskin Slippers are available online now.

UGG slippers are much-loved in Liverpool especially once the cold weather has arrived, but the Scuffette II set would usually set you back around £80.

This means shoppers could save themselves around £65 by choosing the Aldi version instead.
