It's time for an upgrade.

I am in the midst of giving my home a refresh. It was spurred on by a problem that started a few weeks ago. A problem that persists! And though it’s terribly annoying to deal with, it made face reality: my living space needed an upgrade. I’ve been holding off fixing this, touching up that, taking care of what have you. I needed to put on my big-boy pants, watch a number of DIY videos about drywall and flooring, and turn into Bob Vila.

This is exactly what the week’s releases are all about: Bob Vila. I’m kidding; it’s about upgrades. If you’ve been putting off getting dressed up, holding fast to your sweatshirts and slippers, here’s your wakeup call. It’s time to wear a nice shirt, a suit, some good looking shoes, some shades, and maybe even some jewelry. Are you lacking in these items? Well, you just have to check out No One’s beautiful overshirt or a polo from the Sergio Tacchini and Yardsale collab. Try a blazer from Hugo and Mr. Bathing Ape, which will pair nicely with elegant sneakers from Adidas. And if you have a black card handy, splurge on Tiffany & Co.’s HardWear link necklace.

HardWear. Bob Vila. Like I said: this week is all about upgrades.

Lapima's designs riff off the landscapes and architecture of the brand's native Brazil. They are the kinds of styles that make a unique statement. Recently, the eyewear label has taken this sentiment a step further by introducing a one-of-a-kind, 14 piece collection of its stalwart frames, all made of unpolished natural acetate and featuring vintage-inspired lenses.

Tiffany & Co. made a big splash last week, when Kendrick Lamar took the stage at the Glastonbury Festival wearing a custom crown of thorns made out of 8,000 pavé diamonds. Praise be! Equally divine—but less conspicuous—is the jeweler's new HardWear collection, which includes this bold, sizable chain necklace made of black titanium, rose gold, and diamonds.

The elegant folks at GLCO have added some pop to its stock, tapping Brooklyn-based graphic artist Daniel Shepard on a collection of summer essentials—like this truly eye-catching tote bag.

Also hopping aboard the graphic artist train are Stance and Crocs. The brands, both known for creating durable stuff for your feet, have enlisted B. Thom on a coordinating set of socks and clogs. Admittedly, the combo doesn't sound the most appealing on paper, but with Thom's designs, it actually works.

Bacardi is toasting to underrepresented musicians. The spirits brand, through its Music Liberates Music program, has partnered with streetwear label Nahmias on a four-piece capsule collection, which features embedded QR codes that links to to an album of rising global music artists. Sounds sweet, right?

PF Flyers has resurrected an icon. Last week, the Boston-based footwear label re-released 1,000 pairs of the original All America sneaker, which was made famous Celtics legend Bob Cousy.

For Line of Trade, life is a highway. Case in point: the shirtmaker has teamed up with Philly artist Eric Hinkley and the South Philly print shop Awesome Dudes Printing on a collection that celebrates souvenir T-shirts sold at roadside attractions.

An absolutely beautiful overshirt that encourages you to take it easy, to stop and smell the flowers. Fun fact: one of the brand's designers is a writer for Bob's Burgers. So yeah, it's cool.

Lululemon has conquered yoga studios, gym centers, and all kinds of places where you need activewear. Now, the label has set its sights on hiking trails with the debut of the Hike Collection, which is comprised of water-repellent styles specifically made for the great outdoors. But like all things Lululemon offers, they'll work just as well in the city.

Skate shoes: they aint just about performance nowadays. The style and silhouette has become a favorite in fashion circles. Capitalizing on this sentiment is Adidas—one of the biggest names in skateboarding—with the release of an "indoor" shoe designed by pro Lucas Puig. Indeed, with looks like this, you'd want to avoid scratching them at a skate park.

Another example of style and skateboarding coming together: Sergio Tacchini, purveyor of elevated sportswear, and Yardsale, the skate brand favored by Londoners, have teamed up. The results are expectedly fantastic.

Mr. Bathing Ape, the formalwear arm of streetwear label A Bathing Ape, has joined forces with Hugo Boss, maker of some of the best suits around, on a capsule collection of pieces that'll definitely make you the coolest cat in a corporate environment.

Another example of a streetwear brand and a luxury label coming together: Staple and Tumi have released a five-piece collection inspired by five major cities: São Paulo, New York City, Barcelona, Tokyo, and Los Angeles.
