London-based luxury designer Emilia Wickstead has teamed up with Venetian-based furlane slipper brand ViBi Venezia to launch a limited-edition footwear capsule collection.

Emilia Wickstead, known for her ability to combine traditional romance with contemporary twists is a designer staple of modern femininity, while ViBi Venezia is the creation of sisters, Viola and Vera Arrivabene. Their furlane slippers are handmade in Friuli by artisans with knowledge that has been passed down for generations.

The two teams started dreaming up this collection after Emilia met Viola in Positano last year. Both designers share a love of modernizing old-world styles, and this capsule collection proves that they are experts at it.

The collection, designed to be paired with Emilia Wickstead’s Pre-Fall 2022 swimwear collection, features signature florals in bold summer colors. The traditional slippers, which are available in three styles, have been updated for summer in a lightweight canvas.
