There’s only so many pairs of socks you can buy over the years, plus the pandemic has made the need for new ties mostly redundant.
Here at Best Of we’ve tried to make things better by rounding up our top picks for Father’s Day with everything from camping gear to tech, grooming and (of course) his favourite drink.
Prices start from just $8.70 for Amazon’s famous snowflake multi tool which makes a seriously handy gift.
Sydney influencer Adrian Widjy described it in a now-viral Instagram reel as the “perfect keychain accompaniment”, while others said it was “so handy” and “useful” to have.
“Where has this been my whole life,” one person joked in the comments.
Read on for our Father’s Day gift giving guide to spoil the dad, grandparent, uncle or any other meaningful figure in your life you’d like to celebrate come September 4.

WHEN IS FATHER’S DAY IN AUSTRALIA 2022?
In Australia and New Zealand, Father’s Day always falls on the first Sunday in September. This year’s Father’s Day will be celebrated on Sunday, September 4.
WHY IS FATHER’S DAY DIFFERENT IN THE UK AND US?
In the United States and United Kingdom Father’s Day is celebrated on the third Sunday in June. In 2022 Father’s Day in the US and UK was on Sunday, June 18.
There’s no clear reason why Father’s Day, which was first celebrated in Australia in 1936, is held on a different day from our American and British counterparts. However a strong theory suggests it may come down to our marketing and retail sector wanting to have a present-giving holiday in September.
